I've removed the details about Holness being the first to play the role of Bob Fossil in
The Mighty Boosh stage play. If this is actually true, a supporting citation is needed from a reliable source. All I could find in support was:
neither of which are reliable sources, to my knowledge.

I've also rewritten much of the page, and particularly the career section, in an effort to alter the tone. But more citations are still needed, I think. Meticulo ( talk) 17:35, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
The introduction of this article has repeatedly been changed to reflect the satirical introduction of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, mostly by changing the phrasing "and actor" so it instead reads "plus actor". The result is something that would read peculiarly to anyone not privy to the inside joke. This doesn't seem to be in keeping with WP:TONE. And although it's not policy, I'd also point to the essay on humor which says, "Not everyone is looking for humor – Sometimes, an editor is engaged in a serious task and just wants to focus on it. Clear disclosure gives them the option to do so, whereas undisclosed jokes often draw attention and take time to figure out." Meticulo ( talk) 12:01, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
