Uh, Google search of Marja Afghanistan gets 196,000 hits, while Marjah Afghanistan gets 26,700. I don't really see the logic for the move. Joshdboz ( talk) 04:55, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Men are fighting and dying in Marja and yet it is described as an alleged town. Sort it out please. Tina Cordon ( talk) 09:51, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Marja does probably not exist!! German Blogs are writing, that the town was invented for NATO-propaganda and that it is a village with far less than 5000 inhabitants, if it exists at all. German source in German: http://www.ef-magazin.de/2010/02/18/1875-afghanistan-krieg-in-der-phantomstadt-mardscha Does anyone have English sorces for this? -- Ausdauer ( talk) 20:18, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Is Marja a town or a district? Or both? Everybody (press & ISAF) says it´s a town with 80.000 till 85.000 inhabitants, but I´ve saw a YouTube video on the official US Marine Corps channel “MarineCorpsNews” that shows an interview at the Operation Moshtarak with the afghan gouvernor of the Marjah (Marja with h) District, Haji Zahir.
