I've been working to develop this article from a stub. Here is what it still lacks:
a section on the value of the De medicamentis to Celtic linguistics.
at least two other perspectives for the "Therapeutic system" section (for instance, whether he's really "empirical" or not).
expansion of the section on the ms. tradition and editions.
a section that places Marcellus in the tradition of Hellenistic magic.
