Edited first sentence, it said "designed to entrap a person on purpose". Well, obviously that is not true because it is called a mantrap not a persontrap. The mantrap was designed long before the word 'person' was (and the word person is only applicable in legal settings anyway). In the case that a 'persontrap' is created it would not do anything as the definition of a person in the law dictionary is 'a legal fiction'. In short, the mantrap is used to entrap humans which does not necessarily include persons.

- The mechanical trap and the vestibule have so little in common they are better at separate articles. I have moved and refactored into Mantrap (snare) and Mantrap (access control). jnestorius( talk) 00:05, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
