I do not understand why articles written by third-party sources (The Globe and Mail and The Financial Post) are being claimed as first-party sources. These are well respected neutral sources in canadian journalism. If the issue remains, would it be possible to get some help to find valid sources.

I am not claiming those two sources are first-party sources. Read the tags again: "relies too much" is not the same as "relies only". And yes, the purpose of the maintenance tags is so other editors can help fix the issues/cleanup articles. If I have the time, I'll see if I can help. I am not claiming those two sources are first-party sources. Read the tags again: "relies too much" is not the same as "relies only".
