This article has been viewed enough times in a single week to appear in the Top 25 Report. The week in which this happened: |
"The chief television critic of The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Fienberg, criticized actors playing any role that does not match their exact race, creed or national origin. He described the casting of Cooper, along with the British gentile Mulligan as a Costa Rican-Chilean converted Jew, as "a LOT of ethnic cosplay for one movie"." (Link)
This either needs further citation or to be rewritten. I don't believe the evidence provided backs up the writer's characterization of Fienberg's comments, particularly their use of "any" and "exact".
I suggest making it one sentence: "The chief television critic of The Hollywood Reporter, Daniel Fienberg, described the casting..." etc. Hardyharrr ( talk) 04:44, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
