These two sentences don't make sense to me: "Nowadays the dish most commonly made with minced meat, but is traditionally not made with cheese. However, originally the Finnish macaroni casserole was not made with meat." So, does this mean that traditional macaroni casserole is made without any meat or cheese? That doesn't really leave much except noodles and vegetables. Can somebody please clarify? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Heyzeuss ( talk • contribs) 17:01, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
They would serve the meat separately, from the casserole. Nowadays macaroni casserole often has cooked ground meat mixed with the casserole ingredients and put in the oven. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.75.139.143 ( talk) 11:12, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Is it really necessary to have a separate article for this? Wouldn’t it be better to create one more broad one, and include this as a section? Are there any Scandinavian people here who lived further south for some time and can tell us more? – 87.79.190.18 ( talk) 01:33, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
There aren't enough reliable sources to write a separate article about this Spudlace ( talk) 22:58, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Macaroni casserole is a baked macaroni casserole.
I'm unfamiliar with this dish, but isn't there some way to describe it? —valereee ( talk) 17:20, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
