This page is about the Maastrichtian, and while it's good to have a short summary of what defines the animal groups that lived at the time, I think the amount of info under the bird heading is excessive to the point of detracting from the article's main subject matter. My searches for Maastrichtian dated dinosaur remains are coming up empty. Does a data base exist for dinosaur dating across the Cretaceous? Morbas ( talk) 16:05, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Does anyone bknow why there aren't maastrichtian dinosaurs coming from Africa (excluding Madagascar) ? Longfinmako ( talk) 08:47, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
Isn't it 66.5 mya, not 66.0? 142.176.114.76 ( talk) 18:15, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

Per Talk:Chicxulub_impactor#Size_of_the_Impactor, sources seem to vary for the size of the impactor. Unless the sources are better, the range should be 10-15 km. The three articles Chicxulub_impactor, Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, and Maastrichtian should be kept in line with each other. Curious Eric 14:33, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
