What kind of vehicles are there on route 65 in Boston?
I added a link to a source for the MBTA bus roster. Would it be possible to remove the tag now that there's a citation? Ctrabs74 ( talk) 13:15, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

The table listing all of the buses in the system was a bit messy, and had some errors. There were way too many shared fields, which prevented it from being sortable. In this case, redundant is easier to read and easier to edit. It also contained a lot of information that may be too trivial, and which was unsupported by any sources. Additionally, the table used bold typeface too much, which made it harder to read. I've made it sortable now, and split quantity off into a separate column, which may be handy for anyone looking for that specific info. Grayfell ( talk) 02:08, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Its' been proposed the MBTA had its own WikiProject. It's certainly a big and complex enough topic that it would probably be better served by its own dedicated WikiProject.
Several alternative names have been suggested, with wider geographic coverage.
Please discuss both at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. — Lentower ( talk) 22:30, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Why is the year column in the table of buses labeled "Order year"? The years given appear to be the years built, not the year each series was ordered – at least for the two series of trolleybuses. The ordinary trolleybuses (4100s) and the dual-mode units were both ordered in December 2000, the contract covering both being signed in that month. (It was tentatively awarded in August 2000.) However, trolleybuses take a long time to build, and even moreso with dual-mode buses, so the first vehicles were not delivered to MBTA until 2004 (except for No. 4101, delivered in 2003). The table gives "2004" for the 4100s and "2004–2005" for the 1100s, but those are the years they were built, not year the order was placed (except for No. 4101, built in 2003). I have not checked the years for the diesel/hybrid/CNG/battery buses in the table, but I am guessing they are also the "built" years, not the "ordered" year. The column heading here once read simply "year" (ambiguous, but would most likely be interpreted as either year built or year entered service, both of which would be at least a year later than the year ordered), but it was changed in 2012 to "order year", in this edit.
