Should't there be a mention of the live-action Lucky Star porno movie? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.217.18.173 ( talk) 15:42, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Previously, the genres included Comedy, Parody, and Satire. I reduced this down to just "Satire". Satire and parody are petty much synonyms of each other and both are forms of comedy or humor. Listing all three is both repetitiveness and redundant when only one would do just fine. -- Farix ( Talk) 23:37, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Just read it's going to be on July 1. Need citations. I don't think product pages are acceptable though. I'm going to try to find an article. -- Addict 2006 21:47, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
I have noticed on some merchandise (mainly cell phone charms) Konata and Tsukasa's names are mixed up. Mew Mitsuki ( talk) 18:55, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
There's a bunch of Lucky Star songs/videos concering Lucky Star in the Stepmania game. Should that be added?
Also, I've noticed that Konata bears a very close resemblance to Shana of Shakugan no Shana. Besides physical resemblance, they also like sweet breads (Shana likes melon bread while Konata is obsessed with chocolate cornets). I've also heard that Konata has sung her fair share of Shana songs as well. Not sure if that rumor is true or not, though.
Another character resemblance can be found between the Hiiragi twins and Kyou and Ryou from Clannad. First of all, both series have them as purple-haired twins. Kyou is a tsundere who can be violent and is a good cook (the part about Kagami being a bad cook might be a spin-off of this). Ryou, the younger, is timid and can't cook well (again, probably an inside joke). Also, she is obsessed with fortune telling, while Tsukasa is rather gullible and is also into things such as making wishes on shooting stars. Plus, both Clannad and Lucky Star are produced by KyoAni. If that is't enough to convince you, this picture should do more than enough justice: http://kurogane.animeblogger.net/image/clannad/CLANNAD_18_kyou_ryou.jpg —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doggiedoggie ( talk • contribs) 20:21, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, Nihonjoe. Do you also have a working link to the Sankei Shimbun article? Because that link's also dead. Shinobu ( talk) 19:54, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
As is the Asahi Shimbun article, and the Fuji News Network article, and the Yomiuri Shimbun article. Note that although I thought for a moment that the link I removed was not archived, it appears that the Internet Archive search function is down at the moment. So just maybe, some of these articles are still present in the archive... we can hope, can't we? Shinobu ( talk) 20:06, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Recently, I saw several sources that conflict: Some say Nov. 4 (the previous uncited statement, as well as in some blog I stumbled upon), few say Nov. 18 (like DVD Empire). And Anime News Network makes no mention yet. I'm gonna have to try to find more sources. Not to mention that product pages may not be suitable; however, I saw that DVDEmpire was cited on other articles here. -- Addict 2006 16:02, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

I came to this page looking for the anime, which is wildly popular in Japan and among American enthusiasts, and found it to be mostly about the manga. I believe that the manga and anime pages should be split, and the anime page should be expanded greatly. Pressondude ( talk) 23:17, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
"A pre-announcement was made in Kadokawa Shoten's Comptiq magazine that an original video animation project would be produced for Lucky Star.[19] The June 2008 issue of Comptiq reported that the OVA was due out in summer 2008.[20] However, it was delayed and instead was released on September 26, 2008.[3] The OVA features six separate stories revolving around the cast, some of which border on the bizarre; one of which is an MMORPG environment being played by Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, and Nanako Kuroi, and another which in which Kagami has a 'suggestive' dream about Konata. The Lucky Channel segment is performed in live-action rather than being animated. The ending theme to the OVA, "Ai o Torimodose!!" (愛をとりもどせ!!?, lit. "Recover Love!!"), is sung by Uchōten, which is composed of the singers Hiromi Konno and Minoru Shiraishi. The song was originally the opening theme to Fist of the North Star. The OVA was licensed by Bandai Entertainment, and can be expected to be released by the end of 2009.[21]"
If the OVA is already released, then why should we expect it by the end of 2009?-- Quatroking ( talk) 20:12, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

The anime never told of their graduation. It ended in their culture festival (文化祭), which is called open day in some other nations, where the school is opened for outsiders to go in and students have different display, shows, exhibitions and shops to host them. If you, User:76.170.30.67, insist they graduated, please provide verifiable and reliable source to prove it.
