Oh c'mon. Howcome wikipedia is filled with euphenisms about the connections between american security machinery and organized crime? He was supposed to protect the New York harbour from "trouble", which meant probably illegal means to oppress strikes and such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:14BB:81:A198:FCAB:64B:65F4:DA22 ( talk) 18:00, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
Believe i saw American Justice episode that mentioned he sold weapons to the Nazis, Italians, Austrians and possibly the Japanese. Fairly important if true. He was tasked with moving them to our latin and south american allies but sold some to the axis, and maybe extorted money from our south of the border allies in exchange for the weapons instead of simply trafficking them to them like he was to do. The last part I’m unsure of. Sorry if way off. Brad41071 ( talk) 08:00, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
The fight was at the Polo Grounds in Upper Manhattan, not the Bronx as the Lucky Luciano article states. 2601:1C0:6601:B8D0:0:0:0:9114 ( talk) 08:45, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
