What throws me off is the sentence "In 1969 the collection was moved to Leidschendam to the newly opened National Automobile Museum." This sounds like The Netherlands had recently created a new museum, and then the Louwmans added their collection to that of the state. So when it said "In 1981 the collection moved again..." that sounded like the Louwmans took their private stuff back out of the whole of NAM. I changed that to "the museum moved", because when it says "On 18 April 2003 the name "Louwman Collection" was adopted." it becomes clear that from 1969 to 1981 it must have been the "National Automobile Museum" in Leidschendam. - Or was it?? - If I understood any of this wrong, it's because the article was written that way.
If indeed there was no national collection at all before Louwmans stuff moved to Leidschendam then the sentence should be changed to "In 1969 the collection was moved to Leidschendam and opened to the public as "Nationaal Automobiel Museum"."
