As far as we know De Jong was not a journalist. He wrote from a scientific attitude, a historical one to be exactly. His major work was written (long) after the actual happening. B.t.w. he was in London when his subject of writing was going on on the continent. So: i suggest to change his cats etc into history, not journalism. - DePiep 11:39, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Is NPOV and also historically false, given the prehistory to the German invasion of Poland. I realize that this is a problem for those with a vested interest in a useful from of historiography. 105.0.6.104 ( talk) 13:49, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
