I am editing the article in two places to reflect that Goldman Sachs acquired J Aron (the company which employed Mr. Blankfein) in 1981, not 1996 as this article currently says. This is correct (and sourced) in the article on Goldman Sachs, and is widely reported in press coverage in the fall of 1981. Morris ( talk) 21:25, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
The source cited for Lloyd being born to a Jewish family makes only 2-3 mentions of his name, none directly tied to any mentions of upbringing - related, "Jewish" only shows up twice in the article, and neither are in relation to Lloyd or any other specific person(s). -- Umbire the Phantom ( talk) 23:03, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

This is among the most whitewashed, sanitized Wikipedia entries ever made. How is there a gigantic article on "Goldman Sachs Controversies" and NOT ONE BIT OF IT made it onto the page of the guy who was CEO during that time? Look at the edit history and see what happens when anything remotely critical of this guy gets inserted here. This page is a masterpiece of reputation management and a spectacular example of Wikipedia's failure. Amateur editors are no match for people who are paid to game the rules. 207.181.223.32 ( talk) 21:35, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
