This list seems to be only for major rebellions. I made small stubs for the Small Knife Society rebellion and the Red Turban Rebellion (1854–1856), which I hope someone with more expertise than me will expand. I'm not sure whether they are sufficiently "major" to be added here. Justlettersandnumbers ( talk) 14:03, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
I have no idea why this completely arbitrary date was chosen, but it's not helpful. I, for instance, came looking for the Rebellion of the Three Overseers or Guards during the early Zhou. You could make divisions between "Royal", "Imperial", "Republican", and "Communist" China, but how would that be more helpful than just keeping a single list? (If the number of revolts during the Eastern Zhou means the page would balloon in size, use links and turn this into a bullet list or chart. It's a bit silly to duplicate too much information here anyway.) — LlywelynII 00:39, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
I hate to blank content, but the existing glosses of these rebellions are at best unsourced and duplication of existing articles; at worst, they're badly-composed exercises in POV splinters. Anyone else agree with me that we should remake this page into a bullet list or table?
We could provide basic glosses of the time, actors, and effects, but nothing as long or poorly-done as what we have now. — LlywelynII 04:51, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
