This article neglects to inform readers that a phenomenon is an experienced apprearance in an observer's mind. Read Kant's first critique for particulars. A common mistake is to regard phenomena as things in themselves (observed objects without observing subjects). This mistake results in the paradoxes that scientists gleefully recount. I am seeing some potential overlap with Natural disaster and Natural hazard, although those characterize the natural phenomenon in a negative or destructive manner. On the more positive side of thins, there's all sort of less killing stuff we can include. Category:Natural events breaks it into 3 areas, Astronomical events, Natural disasters and Weather events. -- Nick Penguin( contribs) 04:56, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
