I think it would be good to state how many Wii points each game costs. Maybe we could add another column? Jan Panda ( talk) 15:08, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree but what about how wii points differ in each country. Also adding a list of wii points would be a big job. Nintendofootball ( talk) 15:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
This table should have some sort of Release date section, I would suggest using either the Wifi play or Wii Conect 24 and combining them into a column titled Online.
So baicly the table would have seven collumns sections: Name, Developer, Publisher, Cost, Online, Mii, Release date. 130.13.255.188 23:29, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
The date-sorting doesn't work correctly for North America. Can someone fix it? (I don't know how.) Thanks. Sxp151 ( talk) 17:49, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Do the sources really need their own column? They could be put at the end of the title or somewhere else. With the addition of the release date columns, we'll need valuable screen space. -- Pete Wall 18:51, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Not sure if this is completely necessary but wouldn't it be handy to add a column indicating the amount of blocks each title takes up on the Wii memory? Obviously we couldn't populate this until the software is released but it might be something to consider in the future. It has been announced that two WiiWare games Mojipittan [1] and LONPOS [2] will have downloadable content. Should we add this to the table? Rhonin the wizard ( talk) 15:59, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
However, putting yes in the "pay-to-play" column makes it too vague. The game itself is free to play, but what you are paying for is additional content (i.e., extra cities and races in "My Life as a King", or extra question packs for LONPOS). If some people were to see this, they think that "pay-to-play" implies a monthly subscription fee (i.e., just to play the game). Is there any way we can clarify this? Brittany Ka ( talk) 20:39, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Alright, it's definitely Pay&Play. Just look at FFCC:MOakdjileajlkdhs on the Wii Shop Channel. It clearly says "Pay&Play", not "Pay to Play". So, someone fix that. If no one gets to it, I might do it sometime in the coming days. Josh7289 ( talk) 02:48, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

1. Something should be done about the TBA and unreleased. There is not much of a difference. How about replacing unreleased with unannounced in that region and keep TBA if the game is confirmed but a target launch date is not available.
2. Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is listed as a single game, but it is not a game but a series. 5 games are to be released overall. The first title is confirmed (and has been for a while) to be titled Homestar Ruiner. Someone please change the title but link it to the SBCG4AP article. I would but I'm on the Internet Channel now. I have added the 4 columns suggested offline multiplayer, controllers supported, wii points and Wii blocks. I think these are worthy additions to the list and am happy with the screenspace allocated. They just need filling in. Let me know what you think Nintendofootball ( talk) 16:28, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I don't think all the information is necessary (see my comment on the WPVG talk page). For most readers, this will not be very important information, and it only serves to bloat the article size. However, I do agree with the yyyy-mm-dd format. Not only is it an ISO standard but it also makes sortability (i.e. that little button on top of every column) work. I can work on cleaning that up, which should help a little to decrease the already large article size and make it more readable. MuZemike ( talk) 21:50, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I think because of the huge number of games and the number of columns featured with some unreleased, I think we need to have the lists split into three separate pages. One for Japan, one for the PAL region and one for the North America region. I think it's much simpler this way like the Virtual Console lists where it's in three regions as well and fixes up some of the unwanted "clutter". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhuhn ( talk • contribs) 19:24, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

In the recent clean up of columns the Wii Points column was also removed. While the value of the other columns is debatable, I think it was a huge mistake to remove the Wii Points column seeing as there is no standardized pricing for WiiWare games like there is for Virtual Console games (and even retail games for the most part). Anyone care to take the time and effort to restore/rebuild it? - Zomic13 ( talk) 08:25, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Before I could click on the american dates and only have the games that have been released in america on top. Is there anyway to do that anymore. I think there should be some way for every region to see there games on top instead of having to look at each game indiviually to see if there countries flag is beside it. Is that possible? Ssbb marth ( talk) 18:12, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but those lists are stagnant, this list is changing every week and people use it to see the newest additions. For practicality purposes it should be made so that it is sortable by region.
It worked perfectly fine the way it was, it was not cluttered, it was usable. The whole point was it was extremely easy to see exactly what had changed since you last checked. Now it's a big pain in the butt. I am not interested in a game unless it has been released in my region, like most people who use this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.75.190.85 ( talk) 20:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I totally agree on the new version being useless. The difference between the articles on games for old systems is that 90%+ of the games were released in multiple regions, many could be imported, games that weren't released in one region could be relevant to another, etc. For downloadable games, that isn't the case. The original list was useful because you switched to your region and you could see what games have been released, what games haven't, what games will be, etc. As it stands, the information provided by this table is extremely limited and not useful to the good majority of people. In addition, the Region column's sort bar doesn't even function on this table. The T ( talk) 02:20, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm glad there are others who agree with me - sorry I don't even know how to sign posts here, I'm not a "wiki troublemaker", and this is the first time I've been moved to say anything at this site (even though I use it daily). Virtually everyone who uses this page does not use it just for "historical perspective", it's an active tool we use. The whole "go to another site" argument is really bothersome - why when it worked perfectly well here? All the information was right here, at a glance, that anyone could want to know. Then just because someone (who doesn't even seem to use the page regularly) decides it's "too cluttered", everyone has to suffer with a broken page that doesn't do anything for anyone, just someone's ego. I'd be absolutely fine changing it up to Region-specific pages; very, very few people in any region are going to care what is unavailable to them in other regions, the Wii Shopping channel is just slow and many of us come here to browse before we buy. Now it's a useless list - 99 of 100 people who come to this page do not care what the "date of first release" is, they want to know what is available to THEM. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.75.190.85 ( talk) 18:59, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
I have moved the information about Everyone's Theater Channel from the 'Wii Menu' article here for anyone to use if creating a new article about the title:
Everyone's Theater Channel will be a video on demand service that will offer movies and television episodes to Wii owners. Developed by Fuji Soft, it will use the company's ULEXIT video player for embedded devices which will display DVD quality video. [1]
The Channel will initially cost 500 Wii Points to download, with programs costing between 100 and 400 Points to access based on type of content, which will range from children's programs to films and anime series.
