Mario Party 8 release date.

I understand the edit you made, and the data there is correct, but you explicitly ignored a comment saying "Do not change this to any date without first discussing such a change on the talk page" There's a user who has been violating this who is being noted as a vandal because of this. You ignored this warning, and you shouldn't have. Perhaps the best thing to do would have been to mention that there is new information , and cite a couple sources. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. McKay 14:17, 8 March 2007 (UTC) reply

Replied on User's Talk Page with: I "ignored" the warning because it was no longer relevant. Nintendo officially issued a release date for the game. There is a big difference between citing an official release date and vandalizing the page with speculative dates. Zomic_13 14:34, 8 March 2007 (UTC) reply
I understand what you did. And I didn't revert the edit because I think the information is correct and verifiable, but Wikipedia is a community, and the warning was consensus. Yes your information was correct, but you should have discussed it on the talk page, beacuse that's what the people who are watching the page were looking for. No, the edit wasn't vandalism, but it did look like vandalism at first glance. I'm not here to say that you should be taken to the stocks, but to help you understand how the community works. McKay 14:40, 8 March 2007 (UTC) Don't worry about it. It's a simple mistake. No harm done. McKay 14:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC) reply

Cool, thanks for removing that vote. I wanted to do that, but felt that if I had done that it may look like it was biased of me, which is why I brought it up. I posted my reason for having the lists on GamerWiki and Wikipedia as they currently are on the Talk Page, sorry about not replying faster. Essentially, the columns on GamerWiki are very game specific and are better suited in individual game articles rather than a comparison list. Though I agree that if I was a a casual reader I'd much rather see game ratings (esp parents) rather than widescreen settings. Then again, Wikipedia is a bit odd on some things. C'est la Wiki. List of Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection games

Images in lists are considered decorative because they are only used to show what the cover looks like and not even discuss it. Covers have some relevance in the game article, but not in a simple list. It will also create a bad precedent, as there is no difference between a list of wi-fi games and the List of PlayStation 1 games, and someone would want to put the over 8,000 covers for that article. If you don't agree, feel free to drop by Wikipedia:Non-free content, and try to get consensus for doing so. Thanks for understanding. -- ReyBrujo 21:30, 23 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Hi, Zomic. The decision to promote or archive is made by the featured article director, Raul654 ( talk · contribs). I just looked at the FAC page, and it looks like the article was up for 10 days, it got one Oppose for citations, and there was no more feedback about ongoing work. If you're actively working on the article, it's best to give Raul feedback so he knows not to close it. Don't worry about a failed fac; you can finish up your work and bring it back in a week or so, and it will be a stronger candidate. If you're still concerned, you could ask Raul if it can restart right away, but it's usually best to take some time to really make sure everything is ready for the next round. Yes, you can resubmit as many times as needed; it's not a death sentence :-) If you resubmit too soon, reviewers are likely to question if it's really ready, so make sure you give it some time and really get it prepared before the next submission. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Dr. Mario WiiWare screenshot.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Dr. Mario WiiWare screenshot.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. Redirect of List of Mii games

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on List of Mii games, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because List of Mii games is a redirect to a non-existent page ( CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting List of Mii games, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Wii System Software: Minor/Major section

Hey, I saw your comment on the article page. I thought if this Minor/Major section gets added again, the Major should go under Wii Menu version 2.0 & 3.0. The word 'minor' then should go on the versions 2.2, 3.1, & 3.2. Versus22 ( talk) 00:19, 5 March 2008 (UTC) reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mario Kart Wii. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Re:Wii: Wii Remote Tech Details

I don't disagree with you there, I just think that the current wording is far to ambiguous and highly suggests the existence of such a sensor. I don't see why it need be mentioned at all, but if it does get mentioned, is there a better way of wording it?

Adrianne Wadewitz edit-a-thons in Southern New England

As you may have already heard, the Wikipedia community lost an invaluable member of the community last month. Adrianne Wadewitz was a feminist scholar of 18th-Century British literature, and a prolific editor of the site. As part of a worldwide series of tributes, New England Wikimedians, in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning, have created three edit-a-thons that will be occurring in May and June. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Regards, SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 02:20, 14 October 2007 (UTC) reply
Yes, you can resubmit as many times as needed; it's not a death sentence :-) If you resubmit too soon, reviewers are likely to question if it's really ready, so make sure you give it some time and really get it prepared before the next submission.

If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. — Locke Coletc 03:15, 6 March 2008 (UTC) reply

Re:Wii: Wii Remote Tech Details

I don't disagree with you there, I just think that the current wording is far to ambiguous and highly suggests the existence of such a sensor. I don't see why it need be mentioned at all, but if it does get mentioned, is there a better way of wording it?

Nintendo task force membership update

I am currently gauging the active membership of the Nintendo task force. I have split the members list into an "active list" and an "inactive list" and have moved all members (except myself) to the "inactive list". To confirm that you're still an active participant in the task force, please go to the membership list at WP:NIN and simply move your name from the "inactive list" back onto the "active list". If you no longer wish to be a member, simply remove your name from the list. After two weeks (around 23 March 2009), I will remove all names on the inactive list. Thank you, and hope you're still interested, MuZemike 20:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Nintendo task force membership update

It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months to keep our membership up-to-date.

All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on October 1, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, MuZemike 18:02, 1 September 2009 (UTC) reply

Adrianne Wadewitz Memorial edit-a-thons

Adrianne Wadewitz edit-a-thons in Southern New England

If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
