Think that the 1879 VC's listed as the Basuto War are actually the 9th Frontier War. Can anyone confirm? Kernel Saunters ( talk) 22:09, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
to treat the "colonial" recipients of "separate" medals differently and not include them on this list. Are they of a different quality? There should be a discussion about it here. Albatross2147 ( talk) 14:50, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

We have Flawn as serving in the Basuto War. He seems to have actually served in the the Sekukuni Campaign, a distinct conflict unrelated to the Basuto War? Anyone got sources to confirm? Kernel Saunters ( talk) 10:49, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
