Clearly the article has grown too large for easy editing in one load even with a fast connection and modern computer. Large pages can also make difficulties for readers using smartphones or otherwise small screens, slow connections or both. To me this suggests a need to divide at convenient geographical boundaries, for example Chambers, Canal and Houston Streets, and perhaps eventually Broadway as well.
