Just a note, both the original series and Kai are kept in one article. I do like this presentation since it is one series, but to make sure, the name of the second season (-kai)'s name should redirect here right? Tyciol 15:22, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Some of the summaries aren't right. Takano didn't dissect Rika in the last chapter of the Massacre Chapter, and Rena didn't kill Teppei in Episode 22 of Season 1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.243.9.48 ( talk) 00:54, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
I think we should incorporate this somewhere into the list, but I'm not sure exactly where. I'm thinking directly following the first season, but preceding Kai. The thing is, I'm not sure whether to give it its own section or just tack it on as 'episode 27' or something like that. Thoughts? Tyciol ( talk) 00:29, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

The introduction mentions a murder occurring on September 18, 2007 in Kyoto Japan that closely resembles occurrences in Episode 12. It is unsourced, and I cannot find a source myself.
This source, however, implies that the murder was inspired by the final episode of School Days, and not Higurashi.
Shouldn't someone either remove the content, or at least source it, if it indeed had something to do with Higurashi? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.184.145 ( talk) 22:42, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Based on a tweet from what appears to be the official (?) Higurashi anime Twitter account, it seems to be the case that the remake will be a 2-cour. The first cour starts on October 1, 2020 and will have 13 episodes and the second cour will begin on January 7, 2021 for an unspecified number of episodes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheGreatInformer ( talk • contribs) 04:52, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
There was an attempt back in 2008 to move this page to 'List of Higurashi When They Cry episodes' before Umineko When They Cry anime aired. After Umineko When They Cry aired, I think this page should be moved again to 'List of Higurashi When They Cry episodes' so to differentiate it with ' List of Umineko When They Cry episodes' page. Should I move this page? AngstLil ( talk) 03:44, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Wouldn't that be more of a "flash-forward" ? It isn't implied to happen prior to what follows. If anything the rest of Onikakushi-hen would be flashback to that moment. WakandaQT ( talk) 04:58, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
