I just finished tabulating the A section, but I'm leaning towards a bulleted list again (yes, i'm very indecisive), so what do people think? This is the format I've got in mind for a list:
- Hebereke 00:18, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)
List seems more compact. BTW, note games released only in Japan or Europe, other game lists are doing this but there isn't a set format.
Whatever anyone does to this, please for the love of God don't start referring to European releases as " PAL" releases - the Game Boy uses its own proprietary video hardware which has no relation to any colour TV systems! -- Zilog Jones 20:23, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Tables allow for more complete info, but that of course also requires gathering all that info. The additional info tends to complicate formating too (i.e. how to handle release dates / names across multiple regions). Kolano 05:18, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Is there any list elsewhere this has been sourced from, or is it collated by people here? I was having the typical "what the hell was that game?" thought, and with only a partial list of publishers I'm at a loss here. ;) - wee bull - 18 Apr 2006
some of these games are nes only, yet appear on the gameboy list, - Gargoyles Quest 2, I cannot find any proof this exists and the link relates to a nes game. Also Dexterity and Funny Field are the same game and this should be noted. (I don't know which was the original version) - 22 Sep 2006
Are there other games this applies to? Kolano 05:28, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, by all means be "bold" ..but don't be reckless as the editing guideline goes. There's infact a "Gargoyle's Quest II" for the Game boy, but since it was only released in Japan (1993) it should perhaps go by its romaji name "Makai-Mura Gaiden: The Demon Darkness". Note that even though the game doesn't indicate it being a sequel (or prequel if you will) to the first Game boy game, it's infact a pretty much straight port of the aforementioned NES game "Gargoyle's Quest II". This is easily verifiable (even here on wikipedia, look up the NES game) and should hence be reinstated on the list. Removing titles simply because you haven't heard of them is wrong, no matter how much you consider yourself an avid videogame fan or anything of that sort. Thank you. I've been looking into Game Boy emulation the last week and have begun compiling a compendium of ROMS using the current list. There are a few typo's and a few duplications but there is a lot of missing info and at least 200 missing games. A few games on the list have no trace of any existence on the game boy. Adding the new info will take time so bear with me!

I've taken a look at the following lists of games for fellow Nintendo Systems, and there's a pattern worth noticing here:
All of the Nintendo console game lists are made using TABLES!!
To that end, I have begun researching information on the specific games, and begun constructing tables for each letter, using the Super Nintendo list as a template and example. I think a list format will do more harm than good as the information here needs much more sorting and filtering and is just too convoluted to go through otherwise. I'm hoping the folks here agree, since the person who suggested a list structure did so 5 years ago, and I think that's way too old to be taken into consideration now.

Someone looking at this article may erroneously believe that this is a definitive list - however it is incomplete because I searched for one of my old games and it's not on there (super kick off). I'm adding it with a reference, and amending the total number of games in the opening line, but think it should be made clearer that this list is incomplete, and maybe an indication of how complete it is (as it does seem to have almost every game on it). I would do more, but don't really know enough about this topic

I know DeNoel is currently working on the page, but i had been working on the overhaul for quite some time. i know it is quite rude to just make an overhaul like that, but here are the reasonings: The original page is flawed. The sort by release date does not work, many missing information, duplicate games etc. i use the 3ds page as a base, removing the regions released and instead separate the date released into the region. if there is no date for a particular region, it means it is not released. there is no need for a region column. furthermore, using the dts template enables the date to be sorted correctly compared to the previous page, whereby the dates sorted alphabetically instead. i had also replaced the game count to auto, so we do not have to manually change the number if there is another new entry. last but not least, the released date, developer and publisher column still need to be worked on. the game list on the reference from nintendo is not helping. there are missing games, and some dates seems to be wrong. tetris released before the gameboy is even released for example. and gamefaqs is full of errors for the developers and publisher too. i had to check through different web for info, but most of the web listing of gameboy games also do not match up, having different release date, developers and publisher too. therefore, the dates, developers and publisher listed might still not be correct, even though i tried my best to countercheck between different websites. the game list should now be complete, maybe missing a few games. will start working on the color page when i have time. thank you. - Ragnaroknike ( talk) 05:01, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
