I also noticed a lot of links being wrong, like Harvest moon linking to an article on full moons, nothing about the video game at all. also why do all the pages link back to main game series when there are individual pages for some, like the Alien games they all link to one big sloppy article of Alien and Predator games which then links to the individual games, there are a lot of articles like that is there any way to fix the links? if this is supposed to be the list of gameboy COLOR games, then why are there so many game boy games (black and white)?? it doesnt make sense, its like if you make a "List of PlayStation 2 Games" and include all PS1 games just because PS2 is backwards compatible. look at List of PlayStation 2 games, as you can see only PS2 games are included. look at List of Game Boy Advance games as you can see no GBC or GB games are included in that list. also, if the * indicates games that are only compatible with GBC (the only true GBC games) then why isnt there a note in the article indicating that? also why so many GBC games (like Pokemon gold) dont have the * ??-- Jim88Argentina ( talk) 16:41, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Many games listed here are compatible with older Game Boys (original, Super and Pocket) and so i'll second the previous suggestions that there should be a legend differentiating Class B games (B&W and Color) from Class C games (Color only). Here is my suggestion:
Perhaps a table would be better than a color palette, however. Based on List of Xbox games compatible with Xbox 360, perhaps having a "Compatible with older Game Boy systems" column with Yes/No would be the best option. Yes would be a Class B game, while No would be a Class C game. Anyway, please let me know what you think! -- True Tech Talk Time ( talk) 17:57, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi, I'm a total newb. About five months ago I made an edit to this page that put Looney Tunes: Marvin Strikes Back! on the list. The opening refers to "a list of all 581 games for the Game Boy Color", but the list of licensed games contains 658 (once I'd deleted one of the entries for "Daikatana" which appeared twice). I didn't change this as I wasn't sure if perhaps the 581 refers to some particular subset of those listed: but if it doesn't, it needs fixing, and if it does, perhaps this could be clarified? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.40.59.104 ( talk) 21:08, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
The text lists 581 GBC games. I come to 659 games after downloading and recounting the table as csv. Nevertheless, many games seem to be missing from this list. I've done a comparison with several sites (including GameFAQs) and come up with a total of 270 missing games. So a total of 929 games. Below I have created a list of the missing 270 games. The list has no claim to completeness and may be commented on and supplemented if something is missing.
In addition, I have seen that in some games not all regional language versions are listed.
