Just how necessary is the written/directed by, considering they're ALL the same?

Production Codes Versus Television Order
Okay, so recently I noticed that a handful of episodes within the series that were apart of multi-episode that were all aired consecutively (e.g. "Robots Everywhere" (Part 1), "Sirens" (Part 2), and "Couples Skate" (Part 3)) were interrupted by episodes that were aired at later dates. I then noticed that for some reason, these episodes were listed in order of production code rather than order of air date or television order. I see this as an issue because, as stated, there are certain story arcs that should be listed in the order that they are aired in for the sake of continuity. So I edited some the individual Season pages of the series and the changes were reflected on the templates of the List of Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes page.
Grapesoda22 reverted all of these edits, citing that Wikipedia caters to production order and used the
List of Futurama episodes article as an example. I do not know if Wikipedia has a consistent rule on how episode should be listed for Television series, but I do believe that here all the episodes should be be listed by television order and air date to properly reflect instances within the show where multi-part episodes that follow some continuity were aired consecutively one week after another. Not to mention that television shows in general are usually chosen to air in a particular order in order to tell stories to the viewer in the order that the studios and networks feels is best, the production codes assigned to these episodes should not have any bearing on this. –

The first two paragraphs rehash material from the main page of ATHF, and seem gratuitous, or least complicate the page enough that it's a distraction. For comparison, see (just as an example) the opening paragraphs of the pages for Star Trek: Voyager vs. "List of Star Trek: Voyager episodes".
