Hi. The general arguments about the authority of scripture in science were bold. The specific argument about the interpretation of the Book of Joshua was completely original.

Possible mistake
Nicolo Arrighetti is mentioned as being active in 1613. The Wikipedia article linked to on Nicolo Arrighetti says that he was born in 1709.
Another, called Nicola Arrighetti might be the one referred to. Nicola died in 1639 and might have been active in 1613. — Preceding
