She was Italian (ok, Corsican) as Italian she never changed her name, this page should redirect to Maria Letizia Ramolini, and the ..... nee should be dropped. Italians, sorry I mean Corsicans, (and French too) don't have married names. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dellelce ( talk • contribs) 21:10, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
She had some visitors while in seclusion. In 1830 she was visited by two nieces of Stephen Girard, Caroline Girard Haslam (later Peale} and her sister Henriette Girard Clark (formerly Lallemand). Whether their husbands accompanied them I do not know. Source - Caroline's unpublished journal. She was well and lively. The visit was arranged by Princess Zenaide. Letizia's daughter Maria Anna Bonaparte (1770), did she ever exsist because the biographies about the Bonaparte family do not mention her exsistence. Jeffersonian111 ( talk) 04:58, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
