in the episode while talking to chris hanson he says his grandmother is dead, then he accidently blurts out (this being him accidently telling the truth) "thats not true my grandma's fine" That is inaccurate though because in the episode Cartmanland she is dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.166.51.76 ( talk) 20:18, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
People normally have two Grandmothers. Since We don't know who the father is (or mother, as Mrs. Cartman is an intersexed person), it is uncertain whether Cartman himself has found since then his true mom, and it just hasn't been revealed to the viewers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.106.107.192 ( talk) 23:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Is there any particular reason that editors of this article don't understand capitalization of section headings per WP:MSH? I've fixed it quite a few times now. Only the first word and proper nouns are capitalized. SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 17:29, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Why are the Wikinazis deleting the interesting trivia sections? I understand the speculative trivia should be removed, but bits that ARE in the episode and need no other proof besides that should remain in the article. Some trivia can allow people to go back and watch the episode to catch little easter eggs that make the show so interesting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.126.197.212 ( talk) 17:10, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Or is there any? Is the general idea of the episode satirizing Tourettes Guy or some other instance of Tourettes as entertainment, or all of them at once? I know Tourettes Guy isn't the hugest thing to satirize, but Cartman can be seen as that guy and this episode an attack that he doesn't actually have Tourettes (which is the belief of pretty much everyone who hates that website, and a lot of those who like it). I'd have to say that they do a pretty sensitive job spreading the message that Tourettes isn't a joke and that people pretending to have it that don't should get what they deserve. I know the TSA had concerns over this episode, and I haven't heard any comments post-airing, but I think this episode should be to their liking. I know the second, kind of out-of-the-blue satire is of Chris Hansen and internet predators. I just can't figure out why. Mac OS X 20:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
This article is particularly rife with speculative statements such as "might be" "could be", "almost certainly is" and pointless trivia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia for facts which can be referenced, and not for peoples' speculations on what a particular joke "might" be about - there are hundreds of forums and sites all over the net for this kind of thing, however unfortunately this is not the place for them. Please be a bit more considerate for the rules of Wikipedia, because I know nobody likes when their entries are deleted after they go to the trouble of writing them out, but if they don't follow the guidelines I'm afraid that's what has to happen. If you're unsure on why your entry may not be allowed, have a look here for Wikipedia's guidelines for writing on TV shows, and Wikipedia:No original research for general policy on original research in Wikipedia. peace :) Warchef 21:26, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Cartman in a smoking jacket/gown serving apple juice as scotch to Kyle boasting about his plans coming to fruition is reminiscent of some movie I can't put my finger on!
Can you guys tell me what scene is this one a parody of?
I have found here about the TSAs reaction to the episode, saying that it was "false about the corphilia, but helped spread awareness of the Tourette Syndrome" or something. Should we keep the TSA's pre-airing reaction or get rid of it for the actual post-reaction?
Thanks, -- Imhungry 22:55, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
"clearly implying that Chris Hansen and Dateline deliberately murdered him in revenge for his failure to appear"
I don't believe this to be correct. Hansen didn't use air quotes here -- he used them a few seconds later when talking about what Cartman might do to himself. Put another way, the implication of murder was about murdering Cartman, not about Conradt. 63.163.61.3 14:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
When the pedophiles march into the room and find they're on Dateline, they start shooting themselves in the head. Hansen observes this, and says "Aw, not again!". We can assume he was applying to Conradt when he said this; and since he had nothing to do with the mass suicide, the again would mean that the other time he had nothing to do with it either.
As the poster above me said, the talk he has with Cartman implies he might kill Cartman, but implies nothing whatsoever on Conradt. 68.106.107.192 03:20, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
From the way, they show Henson "rehearsing" the "I'm Chris Henson" line, I think what the producers were trying to do was to make fun of the way Henson talks and emphasizes his words. They make him imply that Dateline killed the guy, when in truth the way he spoke just made it seem like he was implying they committed murder. I mean, he was visibly upset when the Pedophiles were killing themselves. AznWarlord 10:42, 21 September 2008 (UTC).
I thought Cartmans "mom" was his dad, since she is an intersexual and it's unknown whether Cartman has a mom or not?-- Eikern 14:43, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Hansen said "shot himself" not "killed himself." That's actually what makes it funny because cartman subsequently looks down, implying that he had "shot himself". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.174.226.5 ( talk) 15:51, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok, 2 reasons why the goof section here should be removed:
1) It's against Wikipedia policy. The Wikipedia guide to writing articles about TV shows clearly lists, in its THINGS TO AVOID section:
"Unsourced sections about technical errors or continuity issues should generally be avoided. If there is a major mistake that is discussed by a reliable source it can become a part of the production section."
so, while imdb or lots of other sites are a very good place for submitting and presenting this information, Wikipedia is not.
2) There is no continuity in South Park. Matt and Trey have mentioned lots of times how they hate cartoon shows that have continuity, and that the events of one episode don't influence those of another. should we also write into the articles when kenny comes back to life even when he aparently died in a previous episode? or that in one show the kids like baseball and in another they don't? it's just the nature of the show, and bringing it up all the time is a non-issue and pretty dull, if you ask me. There's an anime called Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. Cossette/Tourette, sounds pretty similar. Given that the creators of the show seem to be quite anime-obsessed - think "Princess Kenny", for example - I kinda doubt it's a coincidence. Also, my French knowledge is very basic but I think it's la tourette in French and not le tourette, similar to the mistake of the anime title which should be "Petite Cossette".
