Many modern sources mention Gregory I's edict. Anyone know what the primary source(s) are? Is the text of Gregory's edict still extant? Is it just something mentioned by some early historian? Or what? Thanks, Iustinus ( talk) 00:23, 8 June 2011 (UTC) reply
