Am I reading this right? Gays/lesbians can get married, but they could still be fired for being gay? Seems a little odd. 174.58.137.241 ( talk) 06:59, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
The antidiscrimination law is there: http://www.infoleg.gov.ar/infolegInternet/anexos/20000-24999/20465/texact.htm but I am not qualified to decide if it covers the area of employment and provision of goods and services.-- Ąžuolas ( talk) 18:18, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I think the “yes” mark on the summary table where it says “MSMs allowed to donate blood” is extremely misleading. It would be more appropriate to mark it as a “no” instead. Looking at the references, men are only allowed to donate blood after one year of no sexual contact with men, while the same –obviously- is not applied for men who engage in heterosexual sex. So in fact, for instance, a gay man in a stable relationship can never donate blood. The sense of marking “yes” in to show the advances on those camps. Therefore, the green marking is misleading. Magnvss ( talk) 05:47, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Therefore you can not state that gays are allowed to donate while making the final reservation "are allowed if the renounce to sex for a year" Someone who does not understand that fact can see the green "yes" as a gained right -that's the point of the whole article- while in fact is a CONCEALED BAN. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Magnvss ( talk • contribs) 01:05, 20 September 2011 (UTC) 3

In the section, "Transgender rights and discrimination," there is no citation for the line:
"In 1997, Asociación de Lucha por la Identidad Travesti-Transsexual was created to defend the rights of transgender people. One of its first victories came in 2006 when the Supreme Court overturned a lower court's ruling that had stated that transgender people did not have a legal right to organize and campaign for their rights."
When looked more into on the web, I came across a source in which there is a line that is phrased exactly as it is in the article. The source is http://www.gutenberg.us/articles/gay_rights_in_argentina. I urge someone to verify the information above and change the phrasing so that it is not plagiarized.
