I moved the pronunciation section to the discussion page since it is in a respelling system without any reference about the key:
I think they could be /kɒskiˈʊʃkoʊ and /kɒskiˈɒskoʊ/, while the Polish pronunciation is [kɔɕˈt͡ɕuʂkɔ]; Anyway, the best way to confirm these pronunciations would be an audio file.-- Carnby ( talk) 10:56, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
The section about former navy diver John Kelly seems questionable. The citation refers to an article from the Long Island Daily Press, but apparently this article is not available online. The section about Kelly says that he was "famous." However, because the citation refers to a local newspaper, one must assume that Kelly was at best famous only in the Long Island area. In any event, it is not clear what he was famous for, other than "helping" to build the bridge. Of course, many other peopled worked on the bridge, so it is unclear why he is being singled out for special recognition. Did he somehow contribute significantly to the advancement of cofferdam design, or perhaps to the science of welding? Perhaps the section about Kelly should be removed. 76.113.117.65 ( talk) 06:59, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
