The plot summaries for the book and movie are nearly word for word identical. Is this correct?
For example:
The reviews are conflicting. [1] says "Loosely based on Paul Tremblay's 2018 novel ..." while [2] says "Knock at the Cabin is based on Paul Tremblay’s 2018 novel, The Cabin at the End of the World, and the script follows the book pretty closely for the first two-thirds, before delivering a dramatically different final act." The latter review may well explain why the first part of the two plot summaries are nearly word-for-word identical. If this is confirmed then the article about the film likely should note this as it seems significant.
