(Talk: Khandelwal)
The page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khandelwal contains this text -- 'The Khandelwals jai ho have 72 divisions. The legendary origin of these divisions is given in a 17th century book "Shravakotpatti Varnanam".' with "Shravakotpatti Varnanam" shown as a link. However, if you click the link, you get "Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact title."
I once again propose that Khandelwal Vaishya be merged into Khandelwal. The disambiguation page is not needed and other links should be subsumed. Currently two of the links Khandelwal Jain /Sarawagi and Khandelwal Brahmin point to the generic Jain and Brahmin pages. The third link Khandelwal (surname) is essentially a sub-topic as the members of the community take the community name as surname.

As discussed earlier and by WP:D guidelines, the disambiguation page is unnecessary as the primary topic is the community (comprising of both Hindus and Jains). For an analogy, one should refer to Agrawal -- Adroit09 ( talk) 15:50, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
Response to Sitush's query (copied from originating page) - It would have been better if you had a look at the page before reverting the changes. Sarawagi is a predominantly Jain sub-community among Khandelwals who are both Hindus and Jains. There is no separate page for it. Khandelwal surname is used only by members of the community and hence disambiguation isn't needed though the page could be part of the See also in the main article. Also, per WP:MERGE the discussions should be held on the destination page and hence I'll copy this response on the appropriate page. I would request you to carry forward the discussion there. -- Adroit09 ( talk) 06:11, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi Joshua, a matrimony site isn't a reliable source and there are high chances that they may have picked up content from dab page. -- Adroit09 ( talk) 12:51, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
