A fact from Kenwood branch appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 July 2010 ( check views). The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that when the Chicago Junction Railway stopped regularly maintaining the Kenwood branch, the Chicago Rapid Transit Company refused to pay rent on the line? A record of the entry may be seen at Wikipedia:Recent additions/2010/July.

The overpasses were removed, the connector to the main north-south line and the Lake Park terminal. However the stations were just sealed and much of the line is still visible today. Didn't see that in the article. 72.228.177.92 ( talk) 03:56, 15 July 2010 (UTC) reply
