The first talkie film in South india is Bhakta Prahlada.
This source provided in the article clearly mentions that Kalidas released after Bhakta Prahlada. Dates mentioned in this source are September 15 1931 - bhakta Prahlada and October 31 1931 - Kalidas
Moreover the claim that Bhakta Prahlad released later than Kalidas is unreliable, except for one source there is no other source which says so, all the other sources including the above mentioned says that Bhakta Prahlad released before Kalidas film. Also this source (Hindu News) is very inconsistent with its information and unrealiable because it has published numerous articles contradicting its own self, in an inconsistent manner. Please see the links below with contradicting information from the same source:

The second sentence mentions "Movie-Tone". The Image beside it says "Movi-Tone". Moriori ( talk) 20:35, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

Comment Will await DrBlofeld's review. Meanwhile, congratulation to Kailash for working on this important film. The article looks good :)-- Dwaipayan ( talk) 01:44, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Would be best merged into Reception and legacy
A little rough still, but given the period of Indian film I think it just about covers the basics. Try to merge a few of the shorter snappy sentences to improve flow.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:31, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria
Much improved. Would be good if you could find a bit more, but it's fine for GA given the period in Indian film. If you can find the names of the crew an infobox might be worth it, but me enforcing an infobox would look kinda hypocritical LOL.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:55, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
