The "Awards" were issued by an organization with 7 member schools (as of 2007) [1]. Basically every participant got a dozen awards. Would be interesting to add information on the use of this call sign back in 1923-1927. It was the first radio relay station. Built by Westinghouse, it was designed to rebroadcast transmissions from KDKA in Pittsburgh to the midwest and Pacific without using telephone lines. Wws ( talk) 01:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
