I removed the following uncited opinion from the lead:

(This is a stitch, so I will leave it in. Gautier did indeed collaborate with Loti on La fille du ciel, but long distance. She most certainly never married Loti, which was certainly to her benefit. Loti was married from 1886 to his death in 1923 to Blanche de la Ferrière, and it was not a happy marriage. Blanche finally gave up on it and moved back to her home town in 1908, though she never bothered to divorce Loti.)

she was bisexual

in Judith Thurman's biography of Colette, Secrets of the Flesh, she says that Judith Gautier 'took a female lover.' Is that mentioned in any bio of her? If yes, she ought to have it added and have a a bisexual category. 94.197.172.59 ( talk) 16:13, 27 July 2022 (UTC) reply
