I'm removing the Doping category tags as the wiki has no evidence of him ever being involved in doping. If you can add it to the wiki and provide links then by all means reinstate them. brob ( talk) 00:57, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
The fact that he is the rider with the most participations in the Tour de France is not up to date. As far as I know currently Jens Voigt, Stuart O'Grady and George Hincapie all have participated 17 times, while Joop Zoetemelk stands at 16. I don't really know if http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/racing/tour-de-france/jens-voigt-match-tour-de-france-participation-record-128340 or http://de.statista.com/statistik/daten/studie/156941/umfrage/fahrer-der-tour-de-france-mit-den-meisten-tour-teilnahmen/ (german source) are legit sources for wikipedia. Could someone edit the article? I would do it myself, but my English is not good enough for this.
