Can we use LinkedIn link as citation?

Currently, there are a few Citation Needed templates on birth data and careers period. I found LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-yang-6279353/ and it looks like it describes the years for The Boston Globe and The Wall Street Journal. Is it ok to use this profile as citation or is it not valid source as it's self described history? Thank you. shuuji3 ( talk) 18:28, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
