Joe's mother is from an Irish family--her maiden name is Madden. His father is of Italian descent. So he's half Irish. The article says he is from an "Italian-American" family. That makes it seem as though his entire ancestry is Italian and that's not accurate.
Here's proof:

Okay folks, it was a 38 yard touchdown run. Look at the news articles, look at the replays where they snap from the 38, etc. You're saying that because he has a total of 37 yards rushing, it was only a 37 yard run. That's incorrect. He has 4 attempts for 37 yards. All that means is when you add up the other 3 runs, he lost a total of 1 yard. For instance, if you run for 5 yards and get sacked for a 4 yard loss, you have 1 rushing yard. That doesn't mean you rushed for a long of 1 yard. Superman7515 ( talk) 20:40, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

I added a section for Flacco's NFL records, as a lot of other players have similar sections, even ones that have accomplished less. I thought about adding a section for his franchise records, but it would basically just be a list of his current stats, so I'm not sure how much of a point there is in a bullet list. Any thoughts? The photos on Flacco's page are bad and outdated. If someone could find a free use photo of him with the Lombardi, or him during the 2013 or 2014 seasons, I think that would significantly improve this page. Tonyarnold2 ( talk) 06:45, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
