According to the end credits, it's MARK "LOVE MAN" PENDER. But then again, it also lists just "LA BAMBA" without Richies real full name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.176.51.190 ( talk • contribs) .
Why is this article called "Weinberg Seven" instead of the numeral? The band is called The Max Weinberg 7, as can be seen on the front of Max's bass drum. I understand that most people write out numbers less than ten, but this is the name of a band. Why isn't the article for L7 called L-seven? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.8.1.2 ( talk • contribs).
I believe its LaBamba and not Max who does the falsetto voice for "In The Year 2000" skit. The page says its Max, but I've seen LaBamba sing it and never Max. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Painteddog ( talk • contribs) 18:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
Will the Max Weinberg 7 be moving to LA with Conan in 2009? It could be a good thing to include in the article if anyone knows for sure.-- ChesterMarcol ( talk) 06:03, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
The Max Weinberg 7 and Max Weinberg and The Tonight Show Band should be separate sections. The band grew by one member, adding percussionist James Wormworth — see http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/06/arts/television/06max.html. Over time, details about the new band will change from what it was when it was the Max Weinberg 7, 67.100.125.77 ( talk) 08:17, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
After Conan leaves NBC, I'd suggest changing this back to the Max Weinberg 7 (or Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg 7). Considering they were known by that for significant longer than the Tonight Show band. The article would reflect the brief change to the Tonight Show Band, and there would still be an entire section about that brief stint. Thoughts? — Hun ter Ka hn 15:19, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
A lot will depend on what happens with the Conan TBS show. If Max goes with it, the band will probably revert to being called the MW7 or MW8 (since there will be no long show tradition to match as with the Tonight Show), and the article name will become that. If Max doesn't go (seems more likely to me, especially if Andy Richter goes and Max is relegated to being third or fourth banana again), then the band will get some new name altogether. If all the other band members are the same, the article will probably get moved to that new name. If other personnel change, then maybe it'll be time to fork off a new article. After the tour wraps in June, if no new details about The Conan O'Brien Show have been announced, should we move it to The Max Weinberg Band and note it as a tenative title? Oh, and by the way, via msnbc, Andy Richter will be with Conan on TBS. I highly doubt Max will be back, considering he missed 4 out of the 7 months of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. I hope Jimmy Vivino will be the bandleader. Mwhayes1995 ( talk) 06:44, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band – I'm tardy to the party, but I just noticed that this page was moved here a few months ago without discussion. Nobody refers to this band as "House band of Conan O'Brien", meaning that title fails
