THis river originates in India and then flows into Pakistan via Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir . This also needs to be linked to the Indian rivers link

As Kashmir is a disputed territory and not recognised by any international instance as a part of India, it should be mentioned that it doesn't belong to the Indian rivers. That is True but still Pakistan is trying to capture Kashmir Also, this article talks a lot of Hindu mythology and I suspect this is to give the impression that this river is Indian while it's not. Its sources are in Kashmir and for the biggest part, it is in Pakistan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.224.206.170 ( talk) 18:09, 4 November 2018 (UTC) reply

I agree with Cpt.a.haddock who said in a 5 June 2017 edit that restored the title to "Jhelum River": "Jhelum is the common spelling and spelling in RS; Please open a move request." I.e., that it would be appropriate to discuss any title change, instead of making a unilateral move. -- Bejnar ( talk) 12:41, 5 June 2017 (UTC) reply
