Does anyone else think, or is there any evidence that Paxman is in favour of one side of the political spectrum or another? As a leftwinger I am probably slightly biased in my opinion that Paxman is more right-wing than left. However seeing as he seems to criticse everyone (although notably over different issues, i.e. he dosent criticse Blair over policy but religion, and Blair is widely held to be centre right-wing in Britain) perhaps his political alignment is simply that of the 'slightly'-overconfident arsehole party. As I cannot see any reference in the article can someone tell me if they know whether Paxman has a left-wight alignment or he just criticises everyone (in a way which is admittedly fun to watch). Anti-BS Squad ( talk) 12:37, 1 January 2008 (UTC) Now this is quite amusing; being right of the middle, I have always perceived Paxman to have an apparent left-y bias!! I suppose this means he just has an exceedingly antagonistic, adversarial style. Trinkella ( talk) 22:32, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
According to the Radio Times, the programme "Empire" has been criticised by the stereotypically political right wing for not glorifying the British Empire and by the stereotypically left wing for not making as big thing as it could have done of the atrocities committed in the name of the British Empire. If any one one knows how sources for these, they could go in here. ACEOREVIVED ( talk) 19:13, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

I really do not think Jeremy Paxman should be granted a beard. It's corrupt. Disney had it right. Hey BBC - no news beards.
