Since the majority of this article is about the street, which only coincidentally mentions that it carries state trunkline designations, I propose that it falls outside of the scope of WP:MSHP. Without any objection in 7 days, I will retag the article appropriately. -- Imzadi1979 ( talk) 20:17, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

I have to question why this article lists Jefferson Avenue's southern end as " Dixie Highway near Estral Beach." First, the linked Dixie Highway doesn't exist anymore, and it's arguable whether or not the current North Dixie Highway (former M-56) has the same route as the historic Dixie Highway. More important, why is the southern end listed as being at that point when that stretch of road is not named Jefferson Avenue? After Jefferson Avenue crosses the Huron River at the Jefferson Avenue–Huron River and Harbin Drive–Silver Creek Canal Bridges, the road's name promptly changes to U.S. Turnpike Road ( [1]). So, why isn't Jefferson Avenue's southern end listed as being at the Huron River county line? What is the source for the route description listed in the article: 63.71 mi (102.53 km)? — Notorious4life ( talk) 04:41, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
