I just noticed that this is a pretty minimal entry for such an important firm--likely because the firm itself is so secretive. However there's been some more extensive press coverage in the last year as well as more useful official filings. I have some time and am considering doing an extensive rewrite. If anyone has any opinions or objections, please let me know. AaCBrown ( talk) 19:00, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Have added reference to both Sam Bankman-Fried + Caroline Ellison being once employed as traders by Jane Street, to the main article. Devoke water 13:36, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
Where does the name derive from? The company doesn't seem to be located at any street named Jane Street. -- Anvilaquarius ( talk) 10:59, 31 October 2023 (UTC)

It reads like it half of it was written by a recruiter for the firm, and the other half was written by a journalist covering Sam Bankman-Fried. We can do a lot better here.
What does this firm actually do? What sort of trading are they involved in? What is the history of the firm's founders, and who are the most important people here (surely it's not SBF or his cohorts)? 73.71.167.114 ( talk) 08:22, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
