I propose to delete this article. Sources are secondary at best. Other sources in French from the 18th century indicate that the incident was that somebody was bitten by an ass, and then asked for reparations, and don't mention bestiality at all. The certificate was published to testify that the she-ass did not provoke the incident (which originated with a donkey in heat going after the she-ass).
