IMDB, as noted in the article, says this film was released in 1932. And so does Criterion, which released a DVD of this film in 2011.
So, I'm tempted to change the release date to 1932. Any objections?
And if I do make the change, what else do I need to change? I'm thinking there's a Wikipedia page on "Films released in 1932" page. What else? -- Spiff666 ( talk) 18:35, 2 November 2011 (UTC)
Acknowledging the "multiple issues" flag, I've tried to clean up the existing text, added references and some content. Production, Release, and Reception sections could still use more content. If no one thinks more improvement is needed at this point, I'll delete the "multiple issues" template soon. -- PapaJupe ( talk) 17:17, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
I've basically re-done the article in part of my attempts at cleaning articles on older genre films. It probably needs a copy-edit, but if anyone notices anything glaring or missing from previous edits, i'll be happy to address it here. Andrzejbanas ( talk) 06:50, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

I'll be reviewing this. As this is my first review, it may take a few days but I'll try and get it entirely reviewed very soon.

Improved to Good Article status by Andrzejbanas ( talk). Nominated by BorgQueen ( talk) at 06:45, 12 April 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Island of Lost Souls (1932 film); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
Confusing - There was one each of Prendrick and Prendick in this article. When I checked The Island of Doctor Moreau there is Pendrick, Prendick and Prendrick and ditto via Google searches. So, just for consistency, I changed Prendrick in this article to Prendick after viewing this at Gutenberg. JennyOz ( talk) 11:49, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
