Why would this article be merged with another? I wrote this initially in 2007. What would be needed to improve the quality since then?

I would argue that
Irishtown Bend Archeological District be merged into this article (Irishtown Bend). The rationale: The Bend is also a geological structure, and it's collapsing into the Cuyahoga River. Efforts to stabilize the Bend are going to cost $50 million or more.
[1] Since there's a lot more to the Bend that just Irishtown, or an archeological site, this article should be kept and expanded, and the archeological article merged into it. -

Thanks. That sounds like the better solution here. The actual bend/neighborhood is larger than either the failing slope or the archeological district.
