Kiriyathil Nairs were prominent in Malabar. But, the fact is that they are found only in Malabar. Where as, Illathu Nirs were considered prominent among the Nair hierarchy of Travancore and adjoining areas. If you have not travelled to Travancore, you may not know this reality. So please make necessary editions. It may be true that the no. of Malayali brahmin families is very small in south Travancore area at present or in past. That doesn't mean that they are absent completely in that region.Thank you.Bye. Specialadd ( talk) 12:44, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
There is no details available for Illathu Nair in Wiki, this article helps people to understand about the different group existed in Nair group.
