Transferred portions from the Ibanag article

Hi, I transferred portions from the Ibanag article to this article. The Ibanag article should focus on the general culture of the Ibanags while this article to its language. -- Jojit fb 8 July 2005 08:45 (UTC)

Hello all. I'm not an Ibanag language professor, but we speak Ybanak at home and thus I thought that I'd try to add what I know of its grammar on to this Wikipage. I have a distant uncle who is a professor at UP and who has a passion for Philippine languages especially Ibanag. I believe his name is Pedro Abraham. If anyone can contact him, It would help a lot with this page. -- flipxy 27 July 2008 08:11 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Flipxy ( talkcontribs)

Hi. I don't speak any Philippine languages and I'm not an academic, but my wife is from Isabela and when I happened to see Shirley N. Dita (2011). "The Structure of Ibanag Nominals". Philippine Journal of Linguistics. 42. Linguistic Society of the Philippines: 41–57 – via Academia. {{ cite journal}}: External link in |via= ( help), I thought I would mention it here. Hi Wtmitchell, thank you, it's a valuable additional source. I have preliminary added it to the "Further reading" section (and changed the URL to the journal's OA link), but it should definitely used for a future cleanup of the article, which is badly undersourced. – Austronesier ( talk) 09:06, 31 December 2019 (UTC) reply
Thanks for that additional attention to the source. It looks to me as if that Philippine Journal of Linguistics source would be very useful in all Category:Languages of the Philippines articles, but that's an area I don't know much about so I just mentioned it in passing here,. Cheers. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 11:33, 31 December 2019 (UTC) reply
