Check the External links. Both external links give adequate information and is fine to cite the source with. -- 24.187.45.0 21:27, 3 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Actually, the note that the list is outdated needs to be removed. The list was finally updated several months ago and has been getting updated whenever a channel change has been made of late. ----Preceding unsigned comment added by Livingonli ( talkcontribs), 14 May 2011

Local channels

The channel list is based on Long Island. Is it because Cablevision is based on Long Island being the reason the channel list should be based on Long Island? My idea is to take Channels 2~21 to say "Local Channel". That would make things right. -- AOL Alex ( talk) 14:06, 3 September 2008 (UTC) reply

The Channel list has since been updated to include all local channels carries since most are standardized throughout the Metro area. Even the Hartford and Philadelphia stations which are only carried either in Connecticut or Central New Jersey.

NOTE: The list does not apply to systems recently acquired from Bresnan Communications which have separate lineups and programming contracts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Livingonli ( talkcontribs) 16:27, 9 January 2011 (UTC) reply

Seperate the Lineup

I'm suggesting to seperate the lineup into a seperate article called List of Cablevision channels. You can split the lineup by location. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.66.81 ( talk) 12:17, 25 August 2009 (UTC) reply

Or just delete it. Which is what I've done, per WP:NOTTVGUIDE, WP:INDISCRIMINATE, etc etc. A link at the bottom of the page is sufficient. ( Zachary) 20:09, 27 November 2010 (UTC) reply

BBC America

Does anyone know why Cablevision carries BBC World News but not BBC America?-- Pawnkingthree ( talk) 23:03, 2 March 2010 (UTC) reply

Possible deletion of this article (or most of its content)

Per discussions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of AT&T U-verse channels and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television#Discussion about channel lineups in general, this article (or most of its content) is possibly also subject to deletion under a similar rationale. Just so ya know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chaswmsday ( talkcontribs) 14:07, 1 October 2012 (UTC) reply
